Our Savior's Lutheran Church

About this church

Our Savior's Lutheran Church meets at 5560 South 2300 West in Roy. Sunday worship runs from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., followed from September through May by Sunday School for all ages from 10:30 to 11:30. Communion is served at worship, and the congregation's music ministry includes praise-band and organ music. The official site also links to Facebook and YouTube, along with current announcements and monthly newsletters that can help first-time visitors confirm seasonal details.

Founded in 1957 to provide a Protestant place of worship in the Roy area, Our Savior's is affiliated with Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ. It describes itself as a Scripture-based, welcoming fellowship called to love Christ and others through connection with one another, the local community, and people farther afield. Opportunities span small groups, confirmation and First Communion classes, Vacation Bible School, hospitality teams, home visitors, quilting, prayer, and worship leadership. Community-facing work includes an Alpha Food Drive for families in need, school-supply collection, monthly designated charities, welcome bags, card ministry, and funeral-meal support, giving visitors several practical paths from Sunday worship into service and fellowship.
