The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Bayshore Ward, Tooele

About this church

Tooele, Utah has 21 meetinghouses of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the directory, and this one at 5899 Bayshore Drive sits about a mile from another.

Four wards share the building across the day: Bayshore Ward at 9 a.m., Fireside Lane Ward at 10:30 a.m., Stansbury Lake Ward at 12 p.m., and Captain's Island Ward at 1:30 p.m. Each of the four services lasts close to an hour, opening with hymns and prayer before the sacrament of bread and water is passed and members give short talks, with a second hour of classes to follow, Primary included. Congregations here are organized geographically, which is why four of them share this one building at staggered times. There's no charge to attend, and no collection plate is ever passed around. Tooele's schedule is set locally and can shift from year to year, so a quick call ahead of a first visit is worth making.
