The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Skyline Ward, Tooele

About this church

Tooele, Utah, has twenty-one meetinghouses in the directory, and the one at 777 Skyline Dr is about 0.8 miles from the closest other. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints provides a wheelchair-accessible entrance, parking lot, restroom, and seating, and is open Sundays from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Two congregations share the address: the Skyline Ward at 9 a.m. and the Middle Canyon Ward at 10:30 a.m. Both hold about an hour of sacrament meeting with hymns, prayers, the sacrament of bread and water, and talks from members, followed by a second hour of classes and Primary for children. Attending either service is free, and no collection plate is passed around. Visitors are welcome to come as they are, even though many regular members dress up for church. Since mid-morning is generally the busiest window at the building, and schedules can shift from year to year, calling ahead of a first visit is a sensible precaution.
