The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Tremonton 9th Ward, Tremonton

About this church

Tremonton, Utah has seven meetinghouses of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the directory, one at 1150 S Tremont St. A second is about eight tenths of a mile off, still in Tremonton, and this property is step-free at its entrance, parking area and restroom.

Four congregations pass through the building each Sunday: Tremonton 9th Ward at 9 a.m., Tremonton 12th Ward at 10:30 a.m., Tremonton 14th Ward at 12 p.m., and Tremonton 10th Ward at 1:30 p.m. Every gathering opens with close to an hour of hymns, prayers, the sacrament of bread and water, and talks by members, then a second hour of classes follows, with Primary set apart for children. Coming to visit costs nothing at all. Ward lines follow neighborhood boundaries, which is how four congregations end up sharing this one address. Because the local calendar can be adjusted from year to year, telephoning ahead of a first visit is a sound idea.
