Good Shepherd Lutheran Church

About this church

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church is a Herndon congregation offering traditional and contemporary Lutheran worship, Christian education, small groups, service, and extensive online access. Its recorded-service and livestream pages make worship available beyond the sanctuary, while Sunday bulletins connect remote participants with prayers, music, announcements, and formation information. The church’s schedule currently reflects a summer pattern rather than its fuller normal rhythm.

Through Sunday, September 6, the congregation holds one traditional service at 9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary, livestreamed and recorded for Facebook, Vimeo, and YouTube. The PRAISE contemporary service ordinarily meets on the second and fourth Sundays at 11:00 a.m. in Fellowship Hall but is explicitly on break from May 24 through September 6. Visitors after that date should confirm whether the regular pattern has resumed instead of relying on the summer homepage. The 9:30 service recording is generally posted Sunday afternoon, and the livestream page supplies the bulletin and recent announcements. Weekly and twice-monthly studies appear on the calendar, but their titles and audiences should be checked individually. The published summer service is the dependable option during the stated period.
