Truth Baptist Church begins Sunday connection classes at 9:30 a.m., followed by worship at 10:30 at 8319 Lee-Davis Road in Mechanicsville. Wednesday prayer and worship starts at 7 p.m. The independent Baptist congregation bases preaching, singing, and ministry on its reading of Scripture. Music includes older and newer selections chosen for Christian doctrine and focus on Christ. A staffed nursery serves babies and young children throughout the service.

Children age five through fifth grade start in the main auditorium, remain through congregational singing, and then move to Junior Church for age-level Bible lessons, stories, and songs. Younger children stay in nursery or preschool care, and children have classes while adults attend the earlier connection hour. Truth held its first service on Easter Sunday in 2006 at Cool Spring Elementary School, later shared another church building, and moved into its permanent Lee-Davis Road home on Easter 2019. World mission includes prayer and support for like-minded missionaries, including military ministry, while a first-Saturday men's gathering combines breakfast, Scripture, prayer, and fellowship. The 10:30 service is the simplest starting point, with clear care arrangements for every childhood age.
