St Nicholas Catholic Church celebrates weekend Mass at 712 Little Neck Road in Virginia Beach on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. and Sunday at 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. Daily Mass is offered Tuesday through Friday at 9:00. Reconciliation is available Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. and Saturday from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. The parish also provides a livestream, and its music ministry includes adult, family, children's, and folk ensembles serving the liturgy.

The parish's mission joins celebration of Catholic faith with sharing time, talent, and resources in service to God's kingdom. Middle-school Edge and high-school youth ministry meet during the school year and combine Catholic formation with prayer, community, retreats, social activities, conferences, and mission trips; confirmation preparation begins no earlier than tenth grade and age fifteen under diocesan guidelines. Local social ministry collects food for families referred through Social Services, assembles one hundred Thanksgiving baskets, and supports home repair for elderly, disabled, and low-income neighbors through Faith Works Coalition. The parish also maintains a relationship with a twin parish in Masiade, Haiti. Small faith groups, Eucharistic Adoration, and men's and women's clubs offer additional paths into parish life.
