New Ground Alliance Church

About this church

New Ground Alliance Church is a Clarkston congregation in the Alliance tradition, gathering around biblical teaching, prayer, worship, community, and service. Sunday worship follows an approachable pattern of singing, welcome, announcements, children’s dismissal, additional music, a message from Scripture, and a closing song. Bible studies, youth, women’s and men’s gatherings, and other connections create opportunities to continue beyond the main service.

Sunday worship begins at 9:30 a.m. and ordinarily lasts about an hour. Refreshments are available beforehand. Dress includes jeans, khakis, shorts, and other everyday clothing. Parking is available in lots west and east of the building and on neighborhood streets. Children from infancy through sixth grade can check in with help from a greeter, remain with adults for the opening of worship, and then go to children’s ministry in the basement; they are also welcome to stay in the sanctuary. Volunteers are trained and background checked, and the basement receives the service broadcast for caregivers. A women’s Bible study meets Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. with child care. Public pages do not clearly publish youth hours, accessibility details, secure pickup, Communion practice, or livestream timing.
