Calvary Fellowship Gig Harbor

About this church

Calvary Fellowship Gig Harbor is a Christian congregation built around wholehearted worship, verse-by-verse Bible teaching, prayer, life groups, and community service. Its Sunday gathering mixes modern worship songs and traditional hymns, weekly Communion, coffee and conversation, announcements, and an expository sermon. The church now shares the Discovery Bible Church building, an important change from the older 36th Street address still present in the directory.

Sunday worship begins at 3:00 p.m. at 4902 Gustafson Drive NW and uses a casual, come-as-you-are format. Nursery care for infants continues through the whole gathering. Children in kindergarten through fifth grade worship with the congregation before leaving for age-based classes during the message; middle-school students similarly leave for Youth Church. High-school students meet Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., while middle school meets Thursday from 6:15 to 8:00 in addition to Sunday Youth Church. The plan-a-visit page says guests can follow signs or ask a host inside Discovery Bible Church. Because several page labels still say “Sunday morning” despite the published 3:00 p.m. time, visitors should follow the current homepage, service page, and Gustafson Drive address rather than the legacy label.
