River of Life Fellowship, also called The River, is a Kent congregation centered on worship, practical Bible teaching, children’s and student formation, prayer, service, and helping people know God. Founded in 1982, it moved from a school auditorium into its current 216th Street building, which supports services, classes, groups, and events. Its beliefs and values emphasize expressive worship, Communion, baptism, healing, and meeting needs through outreach.

Adult services and Kids Life meet Sunday at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. Wednesday adult, children’s, and youth programs begin at 7:00 p.m. Purpose 8:28, the ministry for grades seven through twelve, runs Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:30 with worship, teaching, and small groups. Young adults around ages eighteen to thirty meet Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Communion occurs on the third Sunday, and baptisms are offered every other month rather than at every service. Kids Life encourages families to attend the same service consistently so children can build relationships with leaders and peers. Sunday and Wednesday gatherings can also be watched online.
