Olympia Lacey Church of God

About this church

Olympia Lacey Church of God is a Lacey congregation affiliated with the Church of God movement based in Anderson, Indiana. Biblical authority, prayer, a personal relationship with Jesus, authentic community, and bringing hope to hurting people define its published values. Small groups, mentoring, children and student ministry, worship teams, volunteer roles, a food bank, and school-supply support connect the congregation’s spiritual commitments with care for its neighbors.

Sunday worship begins at 10:00 a.m. and usually lasts about 75 minutes. The atmosphere is casual, with coffee and snacks allowed in the service; music uses guitars, drums, bass, and keys for contemporary songs and selected hymns, followed by Bible teaching. Elementary children in kindergarten through fifth grade check in at the family center beside the parking lot. Nursery and preschool rooms are inside the main building, while grades six through twelve meet in youth room five. Children’s volunteers undergo background checks and pickup uses a secure tag system. Youth also gather Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Greeters can guide new families to each room, making it worth arriving early when checking in children at two different buildings. Worship is also available through the church’s live-video page.
