Northwest Baptist Church

About this church

Northwest Baptist Church in Port Orchard holds Sunday worship at 10 a.m. and an evening service at 5 p.m. Wednesday Bible study starts at 7. Worship typically lasts about an hour and combines Christ-honoring music, practical preaching and teaching, and fellowship. There is no dress code, and visitors are not expected to contribute to the offering. Nursery care for children through age three is open during every service. A Sunday children's class for current ages four through twelve meets at 10 a.m. with Bible stories, songs, truth-centered lessons, and peer interaction.

The congregation's beliefs treat the Bible's sixty-six books as inspired, infallible, preserved, and authoritative, and the church uses the King James Version for teaching and unity. Wednesday studies emphasize learning Scripture together while developing friendships and spiritual maturity. Adults also gather for periodic fellowships, prayer, and studies outside the main weekly hours. Families attending Sunday morning can place children in the nursery or age-four-to-twelve class while adults worship; the official page does not promise that the children's class repeats at 5 p.m., although nursery is stated for every service. First-time guests can expect a relaxed one-hour format and should use the Sunnyslope Road address rather than the separate church contact form as their arrival guide.
