Concordia Lutheran Church

About this church

Concordia Lutheran Church is a Pullman congregation committed to glorifying the Triune God and sharing his grace with the church, community, and world. Its Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod identity shapes a liturgical service of music, Scripture, preaching, and regular Holy Communion. Campus ministry supports university students with meals, retreats, service, coffee drop-ins, and an Adopt-a-Student program. A preschool, mission teams, Bible classes, volunteering, and care for older adults extend the congregation’s work across ages.

Sunday worship begins at 10:00 a.m. in person and online and ordinarily lasts sixty to seventy minutes. Online participants can pray and interact with volunteers, but Communion is not administered online; the church can arrange a pastoral visit for someone unable to attend. School-year education for preschool through adults begins Sunday at 9:00 and resumes after Labor Day. Families worship together, with a self-staffed nursery in the lobby rather than a separate staffed drop-off program. Music is primarily piano-led, with guitar and percussion used at times. Coffee and conversation in the lower level before and after worship provide an easy connection point. The church calendar also lists worship for the Pullman Chinese Christian Church, so visitors should distinguish that partner congregation’s events from Concordia’s 10:00 service.
