Ridgefield Church of the Nazarene

About this church

Ridgefield Church of the Nazarene offers in-person Sunday services at 9:00 and 10:45 a.m., with the 9:00 gathering streamed online. Worship begins with a band playing contemporary or acoustic-rock music, and the complete service lasts about seventy minutes. The main entrance is on the south side of the building off the Eighth Avenue parking lot. Families check children in downstairs at a first-time guest station; RidgeKids meets during both services, with rooms arranged from nursery through sixth grade and volunteers trained and background-checked.

The Ridge also hosts a Spanish-language service every Saturday at 7:00 p.m., including classes for toddlers through eighth grade. Middle- and high-school students gather in a relational program built around games, worship, teaching, and small groups, while Sunday participation is intentionally directed toward family worship and serving alongside adults. The church's current building dates to 1968, linking today's growing congregation with decades of Ridgefield history. For newcomers, the combination of two English service times, a Saturday Spanish congregation, explicit music and service length, clear parking instructions, and detailed children's security makes the first visit unusually easy to plan.
