Queen Anne Presbyterian Church worships Sundays at 10:30 a.m. at 414 West Howe Street, at the top of Seattle’s Queen Anne Hill, and livestreams the service. The church began in 1905 from a neighborhood effort to provide Sunday School, and its red-brick sanctuary dates to 1907. Its community work has a particularly concrete partnership with WHEEL, a nonprofit led by homeless and formerly homeless women. Several times each quarter, volunteers pack underwear, hygiene supplies, shelf-stable snacks, and seasonal gifts for women’s shelters, and visitors are invited to participate. Other connection points include a senior gathering, book group, Theology on Tap, and outreach projects. A first-time guest should plan for the full 10:30 service and post-worship coffee; parents should bring what their children need to participate comfortably in the sanctuary.
