Neighborhood City Church meets at 525 Seventh Street South in La Crosse on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday Prayer United combines Bible study and prayer at 6:30 p.m. Worship is joyful and participatory: people may clap, raise their hands, stand, sit, or kneel, while the pastor delivers a practical biblical message. A fellowship meal follows worship on the last Sunday of each month.

NCC was planted in 2001 to establish a multiethnic evangelical church in an increasingly diverse city. It began as a home fellowship, used a storefront, spent six years meeting at Lincoln Middle School, and eventually settled at Seventh and Ferry. The congregation belongs to the Evangelical Free Church of America and describes itself as Christ-centered, cross-cultural, and compassion-driven. Its Clothing Corner provides free clothing and outerwear to anyone, regardless of background, on the second Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monthly women's and men's breakfasts and gospel-community study add smaller settings. Visitors arriving before 10:00 may also join the informal prayer and gathering time that precedes worship.
