Grace Community Church

About this church

Grace Community Church in Marinette gathers Sundays at 9:30 a.m. for Christ-centered worship, verse-by-verse preaching, and fellowship. Midweek ministries meet Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. Dress is generally casual to modestly dressy. Children normally remain with their families during worship, and the church explicitly treats normal childhood movement or noise with patience. Nursery care is also available, giving parents a choice between keeping children in the service and using a staffed space.

The congregation is baptistic in heritage, gospel-centered in message, and missions-minded in practice. Its roots reach to Swedish immigrants who formed the Swedish Baptist Church in the 1800s; the name later changed to Bethel Baptist and then Grace Community Church as the ministry broadened. Teaching emphasizes Christ, Scripture, discipleship, missions, and gospel ministry across generations. Bible studies invite careful discussion and daily application, while fellowship and outreach connect Marinette and neighboring Menominee. People exploring Christianity are welcomed alongside those seeking a church home. A first visit requires little advance preparation: arrive for the 9:30 gathering, choose family seating or nursery care, and expect a simple service with sustained biblical exposition.
