Hope Lutheran Church in Milwaukee begins Sunday Bible study at 9:30 a.m. and celebrates Divine Service at 10:30. Sunday School for young children also meets at 10:30 with Bible lessons, singing, art, prayer, and snacks. The Lutheran service centers on Scripture, preaching, prayer, hymns, and Holy Communion. Guests who have not discussed the congregation's Communion practice with the pastor are invited to receive a baptismal blessing instead of the sacrament.

Hope's vision is strengthening connections to Christ, congregation, and community through God's Word. Its roots reach to a west-side Milwaukee mission organized in 1907, and the current church grew around the historic Carpenter Mansion property. Every Thursday from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m., the food pantry and Solomon's Closet distribute food and clothing to roughly fifty area families. A free thirteen-week GriefShare program supports people after the death of someone close. Visitors can combine Bible study with worship or arrive for the service, while pantry and support-program dates should be confirmed separately.
