United Methodist Church of the Pines

About this church

United Methodist Church of the Pines is a downtown Minocqua congregation welcoming full-time residents, seasonal neighbors, vacationers, and people searching for a church home. Worship, Bible study, fellowship, missions, Stephen Ministry, and lay leadership support its call to Christian community. Trained Stephen Ministers provide dependable one-to-one listening, spiritual encouragement, and care during difficult seasons.

Year-round Sunday worship begins at 9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary and streams on Facebook and YouTube. The service is mostly traditional with some contemporary music; a second worship page describes it simply as traditional, so visitors should expect a traditional foundation rather than a fully contemporary format. The online connect card supports both onsite and remote attendance. Public pages do not specify service length, dress, parking, accessibility, nursery or children’s care, child check-in, secure pickup, volunteer screening, Communion frequency, livestream delays, or current Sunday School hours. Stephen Ministry is not emergency or clinical care; its page presents trained laypeople as regular Christian companions for people facing grief, illness, family change, relocation, loneliness, or other hardship. Visitors looking for classes or small groups should use the current calendar because the core worship pages provide a stable service hour but not a complete weekly program schedule.
