Bethany Lutheran Church

About this church

Bethany Lutheran Church is a Star Prairie congregation welcoming people across ages, ethnicities, sexual orientations, gender identities, education, economic circumstances, and mental or physical abilities. Its invitation is grounded in baptismal grace rather than conditions for belonging. Weekly worship, Communion, children’s faith formation, Bible study, outreach, and fellowship connect the congregation’s inclusive welcome with Christian practice and service.

Sunday worship begins at 9:00 a.m., with Communion celebrated every week. Children age four and under may use the nursery. Older children begin in the sanctuary, participate in a children’s message, and then leave for Sunday School using Bible lessons connected with the Revised Common Lectionary and the pastor’s message. Coffee and fellowship follow worship. The events page invites registration for children so the church can prepare, while men’s and women’s Bible studies are advertised without a permanent hour in the accessible text; visitors should consult the dated calendar. Special Sundays may include backpack blessings or outreach presentations. The church office is open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. First-time families should distinguish the nursery’s availability from a guarantee of staff for every event and can contact the office for current care arrangements.
