About this church

St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church is Casper’s first Catholic parish, established in 1921 by families that included Irish shepherd immigrants. The parish now describes a culturally diverse congregation drawn from across the world and committed to worship, frequent reception of the sacraments, prayer, charity, stewardship, and Catholic formation. Its legacy also helped give rise to two additional parishes, St. Anthony Tri-Parish School, and Casper’s first hospital.

During the current interior renovation, weekend Masses meet at St. Anthony Tri-Parish Catholic School, 1145 West 20th Street: Saturday at 5:15 p.m. and Sunday at 9:00 a.m., 11:30 in Spanish, and 5:15 p.m. Daily Mass and Thursday exposition meet at the Parish Center, 642 South Wolcott; the website says all times remain unchanged but the captured text does not show every weekday Mass hour clearly. Reconciliation is Saturday 3:00–4:30, Sunday 4:00–5:00, Wednesday 7:00–8:00, or by appointment. Sunday Masses at 9:00 and 11:30 stream on Facebook.
