What Does 1 Peter 5:11 Mean?
Peter cannot speak of the God of all grace without breaking into praise. He ascribes to him glory and dominion, splendor and rule, and stretches it out forever and ever.
The brief doxology lifts the whole letter upward. After all the talk of suffering, submission, and watchfulness, the final word about God is simply his everlasting glory and reign.
