Today's Story
Bezalel and the workers began to make the special golden things for inside God's tent.
They made the ark — the golden chest — and hammered two golden angels for the top, their wings spreading over it. This was the most special piece, the place where God would meet His people.
They made the golden table, and the beautiful golden lampstand shaped like an almond tree with branches and blossoms and seven lamps. And they made the golden altar for the sweet-smelling prayers to rise.
Every piece was made with such care and skill — and every piece was made exactly the way God had said. The workers didn't change God's plans or take shortcuts. They followed His design carefully, because it was for Him.
