Genesis 2:25 Meaning and Explanation

In their completeness in Eden, the man and woman are naked before each other and before God. Nakedness here is innocence and vulnerability without fear. There is no shame, no hiding, no self-consciousness. They are fully known and fully accepted, at peace with themselves and each other.

This nakedness without shame reflects the perfection of their relationship—with each other, with God, and with themselves. There is no guilt, no condemnation, no need to conceal.
