What Does Job 20:15 Mean?
Zophar applies the image of the sour meal to wealth. The man has gulped down riches greedily, but he will bring them up again; what he devoured he cannot keep. And the cause is named plainly: God Himself casts them out of his belly. The loss is not mere bad luck but divine reckoning.
