What Does Luke 6:49 Mean?
The second builder hears the same sayings but does not do them. He builds without a foundation, straight on the earth — quicker, easier, and identical to the other house in fair weather. Then the stream beats against it, and immediately it falls; and the ruin of that house was great.
The only difference between the two lives is the doing — the flood, the houses, even the hearing were the same.
