    Christ Connection - The One from an Overlooked Place

    David leads with his smallness, the youngest in his father’s house. Jesus too comes from an overlooked place: Nazareth, where Nathanael asks, "Can any good thing come out of Nazareth?" (John 1:46). He grows up as the carpenter’s son (Mark 6:3), unremarkable to the eyes of the powerful. The same God who saw the shepherd boy in the field is at work in the one the world counted small.
