Mount Comfort Church of Christ begins Sunday Bible class at 9 a.m. and worship at 10 at 3249 West Mount Comfort Road in Fayetteville. Evening worship meets at 5 p.m., and Wednesday Bible classes begin at 6:45 according to the main schedule. Sunday worship includes prayer, Scripture reading, biblical preaching and application, giving, thanksgiving, confession, and shared praise. Its roots include North Street church, formed in 1958 with a particular focus on University of Arkansas students; today's congregation spans university students, professionals, retirees, families, and different generations. Children build biblical foundations through classes and relationships with teachers and families. Comfort Youth Group serves seventh through twelfth graders through Bible class, rallies, camps, service, game nights, lock-ins, and multigenerational events. Adults and children can both use the opening class hour for focused study. Guests can attend only the 10 a.m. assembly or add the 9 a.m. class for discussion before worship.
