Tehillah Church

About this church

Tehillah Church holds two Sunday services at 3515 Mount Vernon Avenue in Bakersfield: Spanish worship at 8:30 a.m. and English worship at 11. Services are also available online. Families using children's ministry can begin check-in thirty minutes before worship; the church publishes age-specific classrooms beginning with nursery care for infants and continuing through older children. That early check-in window is practical first-visit information, especially for parents who need time to register a child rather than entering the main room at the last minute.

The congregation summarizes its work as “Building Families, Reaching Nations” and describes a mission of preaching, teaching, and helping restore people who are hurting. Cell groups meet in homes and other locations around Bakersfield on Tuesdays and Thursdays, creating smaller communities beyond the weekend services. Teenagers gather Friday with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and the youth service beginning at 7; young adults meet at 7 every other Friday, so they should confirm which week is active. Tehillah also supports mission work in the Philippines and elsewhere, linking its local bilingual ministry with a wider international focus. A Spanish-speaking visitor can attend the early service without having to infer language from the sermon archive, while English worship follows later in the morning. Children's households can leave extra time at arrival; cell-group and alternating-Friday participants will need the church to supply that week's address or confirm the date.
