American River Community Church

About this church

American River Community Church gathers at 10:00 a.m. Sundays in Carmichael. Services last about 75 minutes and begin with a band and projected lyrics, followed by an encouraging message about Jesus. Communion, offering, or baptism may also be part of the gathering. Dress is casual, and coffee, tea, and treats are available beforehand, creating an easy place to meet people before worship.

ARCC Kids serves infants through fifth graders in safe, age-appropriate environments. First-time families start at the greeter desk in the worship-center foyer for check-in; children remain with their parents at first and are dismissed to classes during the service. The church's vision is that people changed by God grow deeper in relationship with Christ and one another, then carry that change into their everyday communities. Visitors should arrive ahead of 10:00 for refreshments and children's check-in, especially if they need help locating the right class. Those without children can enter the worship center directly and participate at their own pace.
