St. Jude the Apostle Episcopal Church

About this church

St. Jude the Apostle Episcopal Church is a Cupertino parish where liturgical worship, open Communion, children, youth, music, prayer, justice, outreach, learning, and fellowship welcome people at different places in faith. Its services follow the Episcopal calendar and Revised Common Lectionary while using traditional, global, and contemporary music.

Sunday’s quiet, contemplative service begins at 8:00 a.m. on campus. The 10:30 service includes live music, streams on YouTube, and moves outdoors during summer; coffee, tea, snacks, and conversation follow. Sermons are generally about ten minutes, and everyone may receive bread and wine or a blessing, with gluten-free wafers available. Pre-K through fifth grade may use Godly Play on most Sundays, a sanctuary play area, or stay with family. The first Sunday each month features an interactive children’s Eucharist at 9:15 in the Fireside Room. No staffed childcare is currently offered for very young children. Teens meet Sunday at 3:00 p.m. and may also join confirmation and acolyte service. Occasional special events combine worship at 10:00, so visitors should check the homepage. Public pages do not specify parking, accessibility, dress, or secure child check-in.
