Greater Christ Temple Apostolic Church

About this church

Greater Christ Temple Apostolic Church gathers at 309 Prescott Avenue in El Cajon. Sunday School runs from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m., followed by morning worship at 10:00. Bible study meets Tuesday at 7:00 p.m., and Thursday prayer is offered by Zoom at 7:00. The church cautions that services can change or be canceled, so midweek participation should be confirmed on the current site. A video-service page and online prayer-request option help people connect when they cannot be in the sanctuary.

Affiliated with the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, the congregation began in San Diego in December 1982 and grew through several locations before purchasing its current El Cajon campus in 2001. The church says that building includes a 400-seat sanctuary, media balcony, overflow room, classrooms, and administrative space. Its history also records the development of outreach, foreign missions, media ministry, and a Christian university created to educate pastors, church workers, and other leaders. The stated mission is preparing families to change the world one soul at a time. For a first visit, the official service page offers a simple Sunday sequence, while the history explains the congregation's Apostolic identity, long regional presence, and emphasis on ministry training.
