Our Lady Of Grace Catholic Church

About this church

Our Lady of Grace Parish in El Cajon celebrates a Saturday vigil Mass at 5:30 p.m. and Sunday Masses at 8 and 11 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Daily Mass is offered at 8 a.m. Monday through Saturday. Reconciliation is scheduled Monday evening, Wednesday morning, and Saturday from 4 to 5:15 p.m. The church and Blessed Sacrament Adoration Chapel are open for personal prayer during published daytime hours, subject to Friday and holiday exceptions.

The parish traces its beginnings to Mass in an aircraft hangar in 1954; a permanent church and school followed, and the current church was dedicated in 1971. Parish life now includes sacramental preparation, infant baptism after selected Sunday Masses, youth ministry, school connections, and a broad range of liturgical and service ministries. Catholics looking for a parish in eastern San Diego County will find three Sunday choices, daily Eucharist, multiple confession windows, and an established school-community history. Holy-day Masses are posted separately on the home page, so consult the current schedule rather than assuming the ordinary Sunday pattern applies to solemnities.
