First Baptist Church of Fair Oaks

About this church

First Baptist Church of Fair Oaks, on San Juan Avenue, is a Southern Baptist congregation that has adopted the Baptist Faith and Message (2000) as its statement of faith. Sunday begins with small groups at 9:15 a.m., followed by the worship service at 10:45 a.m. Guests are encouraged to arrive 15 to 20 minutes early, when members of the First Impressions Team, identified by their lanyards, can offer a cup of coffee and a small gift at the connection kiosk. Sunday morning small groups are organized by life stage, with co-ed Bible studies ranging from young adults ages 18 to 28 through adults in their 80s, along with women's and men's groups and Celebrate Recovery. On Wednesdays, senior adults gather in the morning for a time of singing and a Bible study, and evening Bible studies for women, men and a co-ed adult group meet at 6:30 p.m.; these require registration, and childcare for infants to age 2 is available on request. Children are served through the Early Childhood (infants through pre-K) and Elementary (kindergarten through sixth grade) ministries, and ELEVATE serves students in grades 7 through 12. Services are streamed online, and past sermons are posted on the website.
