South Valley Community Church

About this church

South Valley Community Church’s Gilroy campus offers Sunday services at 9 and 11 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Worship combines music, Communion, and biblical teaching, with a livestream for remote participation. The same website also carries separate hours for Hollister, Aromas, and a Spanish-language Iglesia Centro location, so visitors should use the Gilroy schedule and Santa Teresa Boulevard address. The congregation has served area communities for more than forty years and describes itself as gospel centered and mission focused, helping households grow, connect, and proclaim Jesus at work, school, and home.

Local mission addresses homelessness and food insecurity through partnerships with Gilroy Compassion Center, Sobrato Transitional Housing, Eden Housing, and Community Food Bank of San Benito. Volunteers distribute perishable groceries, serve monthly meals, and deliver food boxes twice a month to senior residents at Wheeler Manor. A Christmas Compassion Store allows families with limited income to choose gifts for children and teenagers. Global work organizes focus countries and recurring short-term mission trips. A contact form lets first-time visitors ask about baptism or other next steps. The official pages do not specify how the three Gilroy services differ, their duration, musical approach beyond congregational worship, Communion eligibility, baptism preparation, children’s and youth programs, nursery or safety measures, clothing, parking, accessibility, hearing assistance, or which service is livestreamed.
