Armenian Church of the Nazarene

About this church

Armenian Church of the Nazarene offers an English service Sundays at 9:15 a.m. and an Armenian-language service at 11:00 in Glendale. Coffee and donuts precede the English gathering, which uses a contemporary worship band; the Armenian service follows a tradition begun in 1979 with prayer, hymns, and Bible readings. Both services provide nursery care for children under six.

Sunday School includes classes for all ages, and the congregation’s mission is to create disciple-making communities by reaching people and teaching them to love and serve Jesus. Fellowship follows the Armenian service in Alajaji Hall. A first-time household should choose its primary language and arrive early enough for nursery check-in or pre-service fellowship. Bilingual families can experience both expressions of one congregation rather than treating them as unrelated churches. Visitors interested in Sunday School should confirm its current hour, while people seeking community beyond worship can review ministries and events that serve Armenian- and English-speaking participants together.
