Sacred Heart Catholic Church

About this church

Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gridley celebrates Saturday vigil Mass at 6:00 p.m. in Spanish. Sunday Masses are at 10:00 a.m., noon in Spanish, and 5:00 p.m. Daily Mass is offered Monday through Thursday at 8:00 a.m. and Friday at 6:00 p.m., with first-Friday observance noted separately. Thursday confession is published from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

The bilingual schedule gives English- and Spanish-speaking households multiple weekend options. As part of the Diocese of Sacramento, the parish participates in a wider Catholic mission of prayer, sacramental life, justice, forgiveness, and service. Diocesan youth resources include scouting as ministry and other formation opportunities. Visitors should match the language and hour that fits their household and arrive early for Mass. Those planning confession should confirm the Thursday schedule, particularly around holy days. Families seeking religious education or scouting should contact the parish or diocesan youth office for current registration rather than assuming those programs meet during Mass. Feast days may add or replace the ordinary weekly schedule.
