Emmanuel Community Church

About this church

Emmanuel Community Church worships Sundays at 11:00 a.m. at 12605 Crenshaw Boulevard in Hawthorne, with the service streamed live on YouTube and archived alongside special services. The congregation emphasizes teaching the Bible, presenting Jesus Christ as the hope of salvation, helping believers grow toward spiritual maturity, and designing worship and fellowship for the mutual strengthening of the church.

Ministry leadership covers nursery care, small groups, men’s and women’s fellowship, singles, seniors, hospitality, counseling, Communion, security, and worship. Emmanuel’s tutorial program has provided homework help and one-to-one academic support for more than 20 years; its EMBARK extension adds distance-learning help for homeschool families and adults refreshing their skills. That educational work gives the church a distinctive weekday community role beyond worship. First-time guests can preview the teaching through the extensive sermon-note and video archives, then use the 11:00 Sunday service as the clearest in-person introduction. Families who need the L.A.M.B.S. nursery should contact the church about the current age range and check-in procedure, since the leadership page names the ministry but does not publish those operational details.
