International Christian Center, Los Angeles

About this church

International Christian Center, Los Angeles (ICCLA) meets on Chadron Avenue in Hawthorne and describes itself as a Pentecostal, interdenominational and multicultural church. It began as a prayer meeting in a home and later became an organized congregation. The Sunday worship service starts at 11 a.m. Pacific time. It opens with a time of praise led by the Vineyard Voices music ministry, and it is also streamed live on the church's YouTube channel. Each Thursday at 7 p.m., the church holds Covenant Soul Train, a gathering on Zoom. The church's stated beliefs include the work of the Holy Spirit, divine healing, water baptism and communion. Visitors should confirm times on the website.

Sheepfold is the children's church, and it includes a nursery staffed by Christian teachers. Fresh Fire offers youth and teen activities throughout the year. T.O.R.C.H. Nation serves young adults with contemporary worship and small groups. Men meet in a fellowship called Men Wondered At, and women meet in one called Virtuous Women. Gideon's Army is another of the church's ministries. Hotline to Heaven is an online radio and prayer line available around the clock, and the website also hosts a Bible-in-a-year reading plan. Newcomers can use the Connect page to plan a visit, and the website invites people to come as they are.
