Breath of Life Seventh-day Adventist Church

About this church

Breath of Life Seventh-day Adventist Church, which goes by Breath of Life LA, is a historic Black, multi-generational congregation at 425 S. La Brea Avenue in Inglewood. Following Seventh-day Adventist practice, it gathers on Saturdays: Sabbath School begins at 11 a.m., and the main worship service follows at 12 p.m. The congregation belongs to the Southern California Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and describes its focus with four phrases: learning together, listening first, loving better and living differently. It sees its role as serving Inglewood and the wider Los Angeles area.

Services are streamed live through Subsplash, and recent sermons are posted to an online media library. The library also holds past sermon series and Bible study series. The website lists weekend ministries such as Level Ground and a Ghanaian fellowship, along with midweek worship and community service during the week. First-time guests can use the site's Plan My Visit link to tell the church they are coming. Other online forms let people ask about baptism, request prayer, find small group support, join a serve team or register a child. Besides the La Brea worship center, the church runs a Legacy Center at 110 Davis Drive in Inglewood. Schedules can change, so confirm times on the website before visiting.
