About this church

Faith Lutheran Church in Inglewood gathers for Sunday worship beginning at 9 a.m., and the church lists its Sunday gathering as running from 9 a.m. to noon; confirm current times on the website before visiting. Services are held in person at the church on West 85th Street and are also streamed on the congregation's YouTube channel for those who cannot attend. The church is Lutheran, and its site summarizes core Lutheran teaching on Scripture, grace, faith, Baptism and the Lord's Supper. Lay worship assistants serve during the liturgy, including leading the procession on festival days such as Palm Sunday.

Beyond Sunday, a Bible study meets Wednesdays at 11 a.m. The congregation posts a regular newsletter on its Church News page, keeps an online events calendar, and accepts prayer requests through a form on the site. The church has also hosted area gatherings of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. Faith traces its roots to 1925 in what was then the Manchester District, and its sanctuary, dedicated in 1958, features stained glass windows showing scenes from the life of Christ, along with a front window that holds a piece of glass from the Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany. Visitors with questions about directions or parking can call the church office or use the contact form on the website.
