Palm Desert Community Presbyterian Church

About this church

Palm Desert Community Presbyterian Church is a Christ-centered congregation on Highway 74 with roots in the community dating to 1948. It describes itself as the first church established in Palm Desert and brings multiple generations together to worship, grow, serve, and share life. Worship is framed as a weekly return to the story of Scripture and the way of Christ, and a livestream is available for people who cannot be present.

Families will find a staffed nursery and family room for children from birth through preschool, including a screen carrying the service for parents who remain with a child. Preschoolers through fifth graders begin in the sanctuary with their families before dismissal to Sunday School. Middle- and high-school students worship with their families on Sunday mornings and meet in separate Sunday-evening Roots groups. The current official pages reviewed do not display reliable worship start times, so first-time visitors should use the church's contact page or current livestream listing to confirm the Sunday schedule before driving.
