Church of Christ

About this church

Palm Springs Church of Christ meets at 1450 North Avenida Caballeros, the current address published by the congregation. Sunday Bible classes begin at 9:30 a.m., and worship in English and Spanish begins at 10:30. From October through June, the church also lists a fellowship lunch on the first Sunday of the month. A typical service includes a cappella congregational singing, prayer, a Bible message, and the Lord’s Supper; visitors are not expected to contribute during the offering.

The congregation dates its beginning to April 22, 1956, and says its present building was dedicated in November 1967. One distinctive feature is its set of faceted slab-glass windows created by artist Carl Huneke, making the sanctuary part of the church’s own published history. Recent sermons and complete weekly services are available through its video channels, which can help a first-time guest understand the teaching and worship style in advance. Because the directory previously carried an outdated Vella Road address and phone number, use the Avenida Caballeros location and confirm special-service or holiday changes through the official site.
