San Francisco Solano Catholic Church

About this church

Weekend liturgies at San Francisco Solano Catholic Church begin with Mass at 5 p.m. Saturday. Sunday Mass follows at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 and 5 p.m. Weekday Mass is offered Monday through Friday at 8:30 a.m. Confession is available Saturday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., while the parish's Tuesday prayer schedule includes extended Eucharistic Adoration from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; the parish cautions that Adoration can occasionally change for funerals or other liturgies. Children in kindergarten through fifth grade may join Children's Liturgy of the Word during the 8:30 and 10:30 Sunday Masses without advance registration, and younger children have a separate Solano Saints setting at those hours.

The parish describes youth faith formation as a family-centered path serving children from age one through twelfth grade, not simply a single weekly classroom. Its broader ministry directory includes sacramental preparation, prayer, grief support, Hispanic ministry, Alpha, service opportunities, and free VITA tax assistance. That range makes the site especially useful for identifying a next step, but schedules vary by ministry and season. A first-time visitor has four Sunday Mass choices and should allow extra time when bringing children to find the correct age group. Anyone planning Tuesday Adoration or a particular formation program should review the live parish calendar, while someone seeking Reconciliation can use the clearly published Saturday window before the Vigil Mass.
