The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Ridgecrest 3rd Ward, Ridgecrest

About this church

Ridgecrest, California has two meetinghouses of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the directory, and this one at 501 N Norma St sits about 1.8 miles from the other. Buildings like this one usually have a chapel, classrooms and a cultural hall for other events.

Two wards meet here: Ridgecrest 3rd Ward at 8:30 a.m. and Ridgecrest 2nd Ward at 11 a.m. Ridgecrest 3rd's sacrament meeting, like the one that follows, runs about an hour and includes hymns, prayers, the sacrament of bread and water, and talks from ward members, with a second hour of classes and Primary afterward. There's no charge to attend, and no collection plate is passed. Because Ridgecrest has a couple of meetinghouses with their own local schedules, a call ahead of a first visit is worth making.
