Waypoint Church

About this church

Waypoint Church is a San Mateo congregation seeking to help people become fully devoted followers of Jesus. Sunday worship combines music, Bible teaching, prayer, and a children’s message, with missions and age-specific ministries extending that formation beyond the service. The Lord’s Supper is ordinarily observed on the first Sunday of the month and is offered to baptized followers of Jesus.

Sunday worship begins at 9:30 a.m. Nursery and toddler rooms open fifteen minutes before the service. Preschool and elementary children spend roughly the first fifteen minutes in the sanctuary before moving to their classes, while activity packets are available for children who remain with their families. The official youth page lists a Tuesday-night gathering but does not expose a dependable start time in the selected text, so students should confirm the current hour directly. Likewise, the visitor page does not provide a readable service duration, and this profile does not guess one. Families should arrive by about 9:15 for child check-in; visitors wanting Communion can plan around the first-Sunday pattern but should still verify the calendar. The San Mateo location and 9:30 time distinguish this Waypoint from other unrelated churches sharing the same name.
