Rock Church of the High Desert

About this church

Rock Church of the High Desert in Victorville gathers Sundays at 11:00 a.m. Worship is followed by biblical preaching, fellowship, and refreshments, and sermon recordings are available online afterward. The onsite lot provides parking beneath the church sign. Children ages five through twelve begin with their families in the sanctuary, then leave after worship for Sunday School; parents may preregister children to shorten the first check-in.

The United Pentecostal congregation began in 2009 as a small Friendship Group meeting for prayer, teaching, and fellowship. By 2010 it was holding monthly worship at a Victorville hotel and later became an approved home-missions work. Its purpose is to share the gospel and bring hope to the High Desert through a community where people strengthen one another. The church emphasizes joyful worship, holy living, and the continuing work of spiritual gifts. A prayer group meets Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. Visitors can watch a recent sermon, plan either an in-person or online experience, and prepare children's registration in advance.
