Zion Lutheran Church & School

About this church

Zion Lutheran Church & School is an LCMS congregation and school serving Victorville from Jeraldo Drive. The church began in 1947, and Zion Lutheran School followed in 1982. Its teaching is rooted in the inspired Bible and the Lutheran Confessions: salvation is God’s gift through faith in Christ, and Word, Baptism, and the Lord’s Supper are means of grace. Worship follows a rhythm of receiving God’s Word, responding in faith, and communing, with prayer and praise throughout.

The weekly schedule lists a Saturday devotion and Communion service at 6 p.m. and Sunday worship at 9 a.m., followed by Sunday School, adult Bible study, and the Zion Lutheran Youth Fellowship at 10:30. The school’s Wednesday chapel at 9:15 is open to the congregation, and women’s Bible study meets Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. Sunday School serves children from age three through high school through Bible study, music, crafts, games, and fellowship. Outreach includes Operation Christmas Child, Lutheran Social Services, Orphan Grain Train, military ministry, and local community sharing. Visitors can watch live and consult the current bulletin online. Public pages do not specify worship length, dress, parking, accessibility, nursery care, child check-in, or Communion guidance for first-time guests.
