Genesis Project

About this church

Genesis Project in Fort Collins gathers Sunday at 9 and 10:45 a.m. Services last about 75 minutes and combine sung worship, announcements, and a Bible message; both casual and dressier clothing are welcome. Nursery and preschool classes for birth through age five and elementary classes for ages six through fifth grade operate at both hours. GP Students for grades six through twelve meet Sunday at 10:45 and Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. The Sunday student time therefore overlaps only the later worship service, while children's ministry gives families either morning option.

The church exists to create space for new beginnings through transforming relationships with Jesus and other people. Its beliefs treat the Bible's sixty-six books as inspired, authoritative, and the basis for understanding God. Beyond age-specific ministries, connection pathways include Rooted Groups, Small Groups, men's and women's breakfasts, and Restore, a Jesus-centered recovery community. A Connect Card can request information about Baptism, baby dedication, volunteering, meals, groups, recovery, or a recent decision to follow Christ. A first-time adult can choose either Sunday hour with the same stated service format. Families with children through fifth grade have classes at both, while students in grades six through twelve should choose 10:45 or the separate Wednesday gathering.
