Covenant Presbyterian DTC

About this church

Covenant Presbyterian DTC in Greenwood Village worships Sundays at 10:00 a.m. The Presbyterian Church (USA) congregation centers the service on reading and preaching Scripture while encouraging thoughtful interpretation in historical and present-day context. Children begin in worship, then leave after the “Time for Kids” for storytelling, crafts, games, and Bible exploration; an activity table also lets families remain together in the sanctuary. Middle- and high-school youth partner with Grace Presbyterian for service opportunities and mission trips.

Covenant began after the Presbytery of Denver purchased ten acres in the Denver Tech Center in 1964. Its first service was held at Cherry Creek High School in 1972, and it formally became a PCUSA church in 1973. Current outreach includes a weekly food pantry, a lobby collection of toiletries and clothing, emergency assistance coordinated with other Greenwood Village churches through the Village Fund, and a Guatemala partnership. A Prayer Partner program matches elementary-through-high-school students with background-checked adults for monthly conversation, mutual prayer, and intergenerational connection. The campus is at 5400 South Yosemite Street, with peaceful grounds and office hours published on the homepage. Check the events calendar for Friday Covenant Cupboard hours and family-ministry gatherings.
